Through our signature fund, the Invico Diversified Income Fund (“IDIF”), Invico focuses on investment opportunities that allow us to fulfill our obligations to investors and provide a high level of income while offering the potential for moderate capital appreciation by investing primarily in high-yielding investments in a well-diversified manner.
We are interested in partnering with quality investment companies and management teams that need financing to accomplish a transformational event, such as a major expansion, strategic acquisition, shareholder buyout, or to refinance an existing loan. Through IDIF, Invico provides bridge and mortgage financing solutions that support short-term capital needs between $5 and $50 million. And while debt service and a clear path to repayment are essential, we can flexibly structure a debt service profile to match the cash flow of your business while offering renewal options that may extend beyond our typical three-year term.
Bridge financing: Invico offers bridge financing for companies in need of short-term capital to complete a new project, bridge a liquidity event, finance an acquisition, refinance existing debt, or fund a growth opportunity. This lending solution typically serves as an interim financing option until a longer-term option can be arranged and helps aid organizations looking to grow and seize market opportunities or replace an existing lender quickly.
Mortgages: Invico provides first and second mortgages for multi-family residential and commercial properties, as well as residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities. While we typically avoid financing construction projects, we have deep expertise partnering with some of Canada’s preeminent real estate management companies and operators of senior living facilities.
As a born and bred Calgary-based firm, Invico has significant expertise investing in the North American energy sector. One of our specialties is the strategic acquisition of and participation in working interest and royalty ownership of oil and gas properties and reserves. We focus on non-operated interests, which allows us to participate in production opportunities in joint venture partnership with other owners and benefit from continuous cash flow that can sometimes last upwards of 15-30 years.
Energy working interests enable us to be highly selective as to the projects we participate in and, as part of our commitment to sustainable investment practices, we partner with only the industry’s leading operators who adhere to strict environmental standards and emissions reductions initiatives.
Through IDIF, Invico is interested in energy companies seeking to raise capital by either divesting of their non-core non-operated energy assets or by way of investor participation on a non-operated basis in certain energy assets. We invest in non-operated working interests or royalty interests in energy assets such as oil and gas production, energy generation, or midstream energy assets, like pipelines or processing facilities. And while cash flow generation is essential, we offer flexibility in accommodating value enhancement activities like development drilling, workovers, or turnarounds.
Our financing solutions enable us to provide a customized approach to fit any business or transaction requirement.
Invico invests in a variety of industries, however, our investment track record and credentials enable us to be especially well-qualified to understand and finance:
Depending on the specifics of the selected financing solution, we can provide funding in as little as three weeks from the time a term sheet is executed.
Although we are able to structure short-term financing solutions, extensions at maturity may be allowed.
We look at what a business can do – not just at what it has already done.
We strive to provide indications of interest quickly and more expeditiously to funding.
