Douglas Pigot, MBA, CMA, FICB - Director and Investment Committee Member
Doug acts as a Director and a member of the Investment Committee at Invico Capital Corporation. He brings over 35 years of experience in banking, finance, capital markets advisory and general management including 17 years experience in structuring, arranging and executing capital advisory and financing mandates. Doug was formerly Chief Financial Officer, and then President and CEO of DC Energy Services Inc. (2004-2009). Prior to joining DC Energy in 2002, he was a Vice President with Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. where he advised on all aspects of debt and equity financing, including structure and placement. Prior to 2000, Doug was a Vice President and Director with BMO Nesbitt Burns Investment and Corporate Banking Group where he was responsible for managing the delivery of innovative financing solutions to a diversified portfolio of accounts in the oil and gas, communications, retail and government market segments. Doug holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. He is a member of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada and is a Fellow of The Institute of Canadian Bankers. Doug is currently the Executive Chairman at Dynetek Industries Ltd., a TSX listed company.
M. Darren Sentner, MBA - Director and Investment Committee Member
Darren is a Director and a member of the Investment Committee at Invico Capital Corporation. He has over 16 years of banking, finance, capital markets advisory and general management experience. His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer of DC Energy Services Inc., (2004-2008) and Vice President Capital Markets with Ernst & Young Orenda Corporate Finance Inc. Previously, Darren held senior positions at Transamerica Finance and Bank of Nova Scotia in deal selling and structuring roles. Darren holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Prince Edward Island.
Michael Saitta, MBA, MS - Institutional Sales
Michael plays an integral role in the Institutional Sales department at Invico Capital Corporation. His responsibilities consist of credit risk analysis and evaluation of liquidity, profitability, and credit history establishments. Michael brings a breadth of experience from New York City where his diverse background includes working for Franklin Credit Management Corporation from May 1999-June 2008. FCMC is a specialty consumer finance company that has been in existence for over twenty years and engages in the servicing and resolution of various residential mortgages. From 2005-2008, Michael served as Director of Pricing in Bulk Acquisitions. He also acted as a Portfolio Analyst from 2000-2005, and additionally, from 1999-2000, was engaged with the legal department where he worked on various repayment plans with the firms burrowers. Michael has extensive experience with collection analysis for loan repayment, cash flow modeling, underwriting, property valuation and assessing the risk of mortgage loans on an individual and Bulk Pool basis. Michael has an MBA in Finance and Investments (2006) from Baruch College -CUNY in New York City, an MS in Counselling Psychology from Fordham University (1997) and a BS in Psychology from Ramapo College of New Jersey (1995). He has also worked for New York hospitals in drug treatment services, and for various homeless shelters including the Open Door shelter.
