1/12/2021

Invico Capital Corporation is now a signatory of the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). The PRI is the world’s leading proponent of responsible investment and aims to understand further the implications of sustainable investing and support signatories in incorporating environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) issues into decision-making and ownership practices.

Invico joins over 4,100 other signatories who have a collective $100+ trillion in assets under management and who have agreed to practice the following six fundamental principles for responsible investing:

  • Principle 1: We will incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Principle 2: We will be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into our ownership policies and practices.
  • Principle 3: We will seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest.
  • Principle 4: We will promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry.
  • Principle 5: We will work together to enhance our effectiveness in implementing the Principles.
  • Principle 6: We will each report on our activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.

PRI signatories are required to publicly report their investment activities each year to ensure they are upholding the principles set forth in the mandate. By joining the PRI, Invico is proud to formally endorse an investment framework that underscores our commitment to ESG principles and supports our mandate for responsible investment.
